I was wondering if anyone knew of a spot on the lake to hold my wedding ceremony next summer. Im looking for an outdoor spot where I could set up a tent. I idealy would love to rent a home but Im concerned with parking spaces. Any suggestions/ideas would be great.

Check out Oliver Lodge. I've seen weddings there before.

This place will be perfect. However you will have to coordinate catering and entertainment. Church's Landing will set up a tent on the shore for a wedding. They have a wedding coordinator. :)
Stayed there 2 years ago, nice location but the accomodations are very rustic. We had a problem w/ squirrels and chipmunks IN our unit. Grounds however were great.

Church Landing and The Chase House in Meredith both offer wedding packages. Church Landing is basically brand new while the Chase House is a few years old (they're both associated with each other though). I've seen weddings at both places. Chase House was during the summer and they had a tent set up on the higher part of the property. It was beautiful but it wasn't right on the water. The hotel is across the street from the lake. The wedding at Church Landing was just in February so obviously it wasn't outside but I'm sure you could have it on the water during the summer. I'm sure both places offer discounts on rooms to wedding guests and there's plenty of parking too. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the rates are. Give them a call and ask. Hope this helps. Meredith is a beautiful little town!

You might try the Wolfeboro Inn (Wolfeboro, NH). They have a nice outdoor area, gazebo, etc., and, in the case of inclement weather, indoor facilities. They also have rooms, food, and a beach. For a water-borne reception they have a cruise boat. I think it would be fair to say that they might be a little pricey, but I know they would be willing to talk. As an added bonus for your guests, they will have Wolfeboro at their disposal to walk, talk, and shop.

Waukewan Golf Club in Meredith isn't on the lake but it is a nice spot for a wedding.
I've been to a wedding at Oliver Lodge and it was nice but I don't think they have room for a tent if I recall correctly.
Another spot on the lake in addition to those mentioned is Kona Mansion Inn. I wouldn't use the building facility ( too old, musty and needs updating badly) but they do have a nice lawn area to set up a tent.
Brewster Academy might rent out lawn space for a tent wedding if it doesn't interfere with their scheduling. I looked into that when planning my daughter's wedding a couple of years ago.
Good luck!

You should think about having your wedding on the MV Mount Washington, we did it last year and they did a fantastic job.
They take care of just about everything, ceremony, reception, DJ, photographer food & drink, atmosphere. everything you could possibly need they can provide.
I highly recomend the Mount as a option, very professional and very accomodating for your special day.
