I am planning a corporate event at the Church Landing in the spring. I am trying to think of some fun idea's for activities. One of mine was to have a party on the Mt Washington. My main concern is the food for the party. The last dinner cruise I went on had the most aweful food in the world. Has anyone done a party on the Mt Washington and how did you handle food? Do you have any other idea's for an evening gala that would be inticing?
Thanks.

Who will do the food at Church Landing?
How much of the Mount will your group occupy?
Who owns both the boat and the building? :rolleye2:
(HINT: Ask Rusty McL.)
Have fun during your event! ;)

I'm looking at late May, about 125 people. The Church will do most meals during the day. I was looking for a nighttime event. I haven't called the Mount people yet since I wanted to get a feel for my food options first. Thanks.

You might want to look into the facilities at Castle in The Clouds. It wouldn't be on the water, but would give you a nice view of the lake until it got dark. And quite frankly, once it is dark you're not gonna see TOO much on the mount either. I know some people on the forum have held events there. Maybe one can help ya out on how it went. Best of luck!! One other thing to consider, I know the mount does Kingswood Regional High School's prom each year which could conflict if you're looking at late may. Just an idea. Good luck.

My mind has a strange way of thinking. Hang in there. This is my point.
Perhaps this is a better hint (http://www.millfalls.com/regularpages/mt.htm) or perhaps this hint (http://www.millfalls.com/grouppages/weddings2.htm) (green thingy to left of screen - bottom item and then up two) will help to convince you that they share ownership.
Granted, the food may be offered by different entities; however, a productive conversation with Rusty or his staff should yield a favorable reprieve, regarding your dietary concerns. In other words, perhaps one entity could satiate your group at both locations (cater to your needs).
This selection (http://www.millfalls.com/grouppages/services.htm) might provide some pleasant memories.
Remember the old saying about “the sky is the limit” and add to that, “what’s in your wallet?” and “the possibilities are limitless.” :rolleye2:
Hope you and your group have a memorable occasion.

Ya learn something new each day! I never knew they were the same "management". Thanks!
I shall pursue it.
