I'm sure I'm just being "dense", but I can't figure out how to delete (remove) pics from "My Photos". I'm about out of space and wanted to remove some of my older pics to create space for a few new pics.

Thx SteveA

Don't delete anything Steve, I've removed your quota.

edit: I should have added that you can delete pictures by viewing them and clicking the "Edit Photo" icon. The delete checkbox is at the bottom of the edit screen.

This site has the potential to be a great historical reference of what the lake was like way back in our time. Thanks Don for making room for more and thanks SteveA for sharing more. I hope the data survives long after the Internet has been replaced with whatever is next.

Hi Don,
I'm not sure why, but on the upload photos screen, where it says
"Select the photos you wish to upload from your computer:" and theres the "Browse" button; I can't seem to choose more than one photo at a time...
Usually I can hold the "control" key down and select multiple photos for upload, but I'm not able to do so. I am able to do so on other sites, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong.
Just curious if theres something extra I should be doing in order to uplaod multiple photos at once?
Thanks Don,
-Kathy

Your not alone NHKathy, many of us have had no luck with the multiple uploading.

Thanks, RG!
Yeah, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't overlooking something. My computer is just so sloooowww, that it takes forever just to upload one photo. I was questioning it because I have a lot of pictures from the Wolfeboro Independence Day Parade; so far I have uploaded three.
BTW -I'm hoping to finally get to the Forum Fest this year, but I have not yet responded because i'm still not sure... :)

Sorry I didn't jump in sooner.

The multiple upload feature was disabled many years ago to discourage the uploading of large collections of pictures. When I started using the PhotoPost system (10 years ago!) I noticed that some people were posting every picture they took instead of selecting a few good ones. Limiting multiple uploads was effective in slowing that down.

Ahhh, well that definitely makes sense. I could see how that could happen.
Thanks for all you do, Don! :)

Like SteveA, I am feeling a tad dense too. I have reached the attachment limit and I can't find the delete option Don wrote about. HELP...

Don't find the delete until you give Don a chance to give you more space...

Will Don see this and "fix" the issue, or should I EM him ?

I don't think there is anything that needs to be fixed. When you edit your photo there is a field at the bottom labeled "If you want to delete this image completely, check this box".

Don,
I thought NHBOUY had reached his picture storage quota and was now planning to start deleting "content". I doubted that was what you would want to be the solution to posting more pictures.

But I could very likely be confused.
