The speed limit issue had been comical all along with some of the fabrications that have come out, but it just keeps getting better. From the article: "According to Bolster, this area is state waters, but 95% of the zone would be located in Alton. Bolster said that there is also a proposal to give the town the right to approve the zone". How can they claim that 95% of the "Zone" (Broads) is in Alton? That's fuzzy math if I've ever seen it. Since when does a town have jurisdiction over state waters? Now the "high-speed zone" is going to be dependent on voters (even non-taxpayers) in the Town of Alton? Who dreams this stuff up anyway?
