One of the most satisfying restaurant meals I've had in the Lakes Region was many years ago at a long gone "locals only" joint in Lakeport; they served up a great New England Boiled Dinner.

My question: where else at the lake can I find New England Boiled Dinner next summer when I return?

Any unusual recipe variations?

Yum... :liplick:

This place serves up Corned Beef and cabbage, aka Boiled dinner on Thursday nights for cheap money ( I think it was $6.95 last summer).
Service isn't top notch, but I've always gotten my money's worth at this place.

I am not 100% sure but I think that Patricks Pub might serve this dish.

Patrick's also has a great Corned Beef and Cabbage Stew.

I e-mailed them this morning to see if they serve this, and the response I received was "..........Patrick’s runs a Boiled Dinner special every Sunday, for both lunch & dinner. Corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes is $10.99.

Best Wishes,

Allan."

There ya go!
